Exceptionally many hours of sunshine, regular rain showers, and a mild autumn; this year brought an abundant harvest of tubers from the Dutch soil.

In recent years, Noortje de Brouwer immersed herself in the world of the potato, from planting 146 varieties, to researching the potato in 1885, and visiting farmers, scientists, breeders, and other potato enthusiasts.
